Questions
Quiet questions.
Consultations, patch tests, aftercare, changing an appointment and the medical background behind the needle.
How do I book?
Choose a treatment from the price list, pick an option if there is one, then a time, and confirm your details online. You will receive an email with the appointment summary and a private link to reschedule or cancel. If you are not sure which treatment is right, message the studio before booking and we will point you to the right one.
Do I need a consultation before injectables?
Yes. Anti-wrinkle, dermal filler, skin boosters, fat dissolve and vitamin injections all begin with a consultation. We take a full medical and medication history, assess suitability and confirm the price in writing. Nothing is injected on the day unless it is safe and appropriate — and if a treatment is not right for you, we will tell you.
What does a medical background mean for my treatment?
The academy is led by a registered practitioner and teacher in beauty and aesthetics, with previous medical experience and phlebotomy training. That background shows up in the parts you cannot see: careful health screening, accurate record-keeping, sterile technique and a clear escalation plan if anything needs a doctor rather than an aesthetician.
Do I need a patch test?
First-time lash lift, brow lamination and tint clients need a patch test at least 24 hours before the appointment. Lash and brow treatments use active solutions, and a reaction is much easier to manage before the full treatment than after it. Patch tests are arranged when you book.
What aftercare will I get?
Every treatment comes with written aftercare and a contact number for questions. Injectables include guidance on heat, alcohol and exercise for the first 24 hours and a two-week review. Facials and microneedling include SPF advice. Piercing includes a cleaning routine and a follow-up check.
What is the cancellation policy?
Appointments can be moved or cancelled online up to 24 hours before the start time using the link in your confirmation email. Inside 24 hours, contact the studio directly and we will do what we can. Late arrivals may mean a shortened treatment so the next client is not delayed.
How do I pay?
Nothing is paid online. You send a booking request, the studio confirms it with you, and payment is taken at the studio by card after your treatment. Injectable treatments are priced and agreed at consultation first.
Do you offer training?
Yes — Hayley teaches beauty and aesthetics, and the Hayley Barratt Beauty Academy is the training side of the business. Course dates, prerequisites and accreditation are not published yet; register your interest through the academy page and you will be contacted when the schedule is confirmed.
Where are you and is there parking?
The studio runs by appointment only, and the full address is published as soon as it is confirmed. Arrival notes and parking details are always included in your confirmation email, so the door stays quiet for the client who is with us.
